67% Prefer Merry Christmas while 26% Opt for Happy Holidays
Thursday, November 22, 2007
As the holiday season begins, 67% of American adults like stores to use the phrase “Merry Christmas” in their seasonal advertising rather than “Happy Holidays.” A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 26% prefer the Happy Holidays line.

There is no gender gap on this question and few demographic differences. From a politically partisan perspective, 88% of Republicans prefer “Merry Christmas” while just 57% of Democrats favor the saying.

The poll says … Merry Christmas!
By Michelle Healy, USA TODAY November 30th 2009
If you think greetings such as “Happy Holidays” or “Season’s Greetings” are poor substitutes for “Merry Christmas,” you’ve got company.
A USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday finds that 69% of adults surveyed say “Merry Christmas” is the greeting they most likely would use this time of year when first meeting someone. That’s up from 56% in 2004. Only 29% would opt for “Happy Holidays,” down from 41% in 2004.

We had a great time, But like a worn out shoe, we didn’t didn’t get the tittle this year, (what ever that means)

This is not a cell Phone...Dakine Cool Lock

Keep your equipment from being stolen with the Dakine cool lock. The economy has many of us concerned that more snowboards will be stolen this year. If you have ever had you board stolen, you know first hand how miserable that experience is. Here you are, having paid, who know how much for a lift ticket, to have your board stolen during a lunch break. You walk out from lunch, your stomach drops, as you search everywhere for your board. Then instead of riding the rest of the afternoon, your off filling our police reports ans lost and found reports. Then if you dare to use your home owners insurance to try and get it replaced, you have more forms to fill out, and then the waiting to get the check after you pay the deductible.
Will Snowboarders be tempted to steal? We hope not, but we know how enjoyable riding is, so the desire is very strong.  If your having trouble earning enough money to continue to ride, don’t give into stealing. Get a job, work at a resort, go to Lake Tahoe Community College, Work harder in the summer, be responsible, Say no to stealing other people’s equipment, who did work hard to get their gear.  Lead us not into Temptation, Lock up your Snowboard

FEATURES:
+ Compact 3digit combination lock with 37 [ 94 cm ] retractable cable
+ Set your own combination”

You have obviously seen snowboarding on T.V. over the past decade, but in the past two years it seems to be every other commercial break or T.V. show that you catch a glimpse of your favorite pro snowboarder. When will it end? Well, it won’t. Ride is stoked to embark in the exciting world of commercial broadcasting thanks to outlets like Fuel T.V., Youtube, podcasts and every other T.V., website and channel out there. And as with everything we do at Ride, we are going to have fun in the process. Just take this new commercial we produced…how could we go wrong? I mean seriously, put a mustache on Mikey and it was almost finished!

Here you can find the full length 3 minute version of our Ride webisode starring Slimewalls® as themselves, Mikey Leblanc as “Officer Leblanc”, Nico Droz as “shop kid” and Darrell Mathes as “Slimewall Junkie”. A shorter 30 second commercial will be broadcast on Fuel T.V. starting in October. Stay tuned for more from Ride studios and in the meantime, we hope you enjoy our webisode.

Comming soon to Shoreline of Tahoe

Comming soon to Shoreline of Tahoe

Neverland was filmed all last year long before Michael Jackson Died….Neverland is a state of mind, a mountain pushed up from the ground by imagination. Anyone can go but most people have trouble with the simple directions: Follow your dreams. This winter Absinthe dropped down the rabbit hole to explore this elusive place and brought back some mind bending tales and a pocketful of surprises. Travis Rice, Dan Brisse, Bode Merrill, Nicolas Müller, Sylvain Bourbousson, JP Solberg, Romain deMarchi, DCP, Marc Frank Montoya, Annie Boulanger, Marie-France Roy, Jules Reymond, Wille Yli-Luoma, Cale Zima, Phil Damianakes, Wolfgang Nyvelt, Kevin Pearce, Eero Ettala, Gigi Rüf and the rest of the Lost Boys continued down the road less traveled and explored some new possibilities during a winter that saw the progression of snowboarding take some giant strides.

This place has everything…..come on, I show you
