This is skiing at a level that was never even thought of 40 years ago, can this be topped?
This ad ended up 23% Corney then any of our other commericals. watch and see for yourself, it’s cheezy. The funny thing is many people have commented on seeing it, which means that now they will come into Shoreline with buckets of money to buy Skis and Snowboards they Saw on the X-games. How about a Helmet that explodes off your head while riding in a half Pipe….Oh Sorry Shaun White already bought that one.

Men’s qualification starts Wednesday and Friday at 12:15 PM Mountain Time (2:15 PM East Coast and 11:15 AM West Coast). Men’s finals is scheduled to start at 2:45 PM but that is subject to change based on how the event runs. There is going to be a run order on the website so it will you should be able to tell who is going and when I go. I will be running 40th in the run order and I will be wearing bib #67.
I am very excited to compete. Training has been going well and everything is coming together. The top two overall finishers from the two day event will get U.S. C Team spots. The top overall finisher from the two days will also get to ski the American World Cups inDeer Valley, UT and Lake Placid, NY. Thank you for your love and support. I will let you know how the week goes.
Yes, its true, lake Tahoe’s Number one Snowboard Shop, just got a shout out from Freeskier Magazine. Freeski magazine recognized Shoreline of Tahoe as the best freeride ski shop in South Lake Tahoe, they went on to talk about our great selection of twin tip skis, and expert advice. Wow this was a great surprise for us, we really try our best, to give the best service, and information to all who seek to improve their mountain experience. Skier or Snowboarder, we want to equip you with the gear that the Ski or snowboard industry has to offer. To us its like being the best match maker, a marriage of sorts. We listen to what our customers are saying, how they ski, where they ski, how often they ski, problems their having, and the direction they want to go with their skiing. We marry the skiers flesh and bones, to wood and metal so they can become one with their skis. This is how we became # 1 in both Skiing and snowboarding.
67% Prefer Merry Christmas while 26% Opt for Happy Holidays
Thursday, November 22, 2007
As the holiday season begins, 67% of American adults like stores to use the phrase “Merry Christmas” in their seasonal advertising rather than “Happy Holidays.” A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 26% prefer the Happy Holidays line.
There is no gender gap on this question and few demographic differences. From a politically partisan perspective, 88% of Republicans prefer “Merry Christmas” while just 57% of Democrats favor the saying.
The poll says … Merry Christmas!
By Michelle Healy, USA TODAY November 30th 2009
If you think greetings such as “Happy Holidays” or “Season’s Greetings” are poor substitutes for “Merry Christmas,” you’ve got company.
A USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll taken Friday through Sunday finds that 69% of adults surveyed say “Merry Christmas” is the greeting they most likely would use this time of year when first meeting someone. That’s up from 56% in 2004. Only 29% would opt for “Happy Holidays,” down from 41% in 2004.

How to p-tex repair your skis or snowboard.
WHO?
Anyone who’s interested in doing a little more in-depth snowboard maintenance.
WHAT?
Patch minor dings in your snowboard base.
WHEN?
When you notice small gouges or scratches in the base of your snowboard.
WHERE?
On a workbench, in a well-ventilated area.
WHY?
Smooth bases go faster, you dig? There will be more surface area that touches the snow to absorb wax. Plus, it looks nice…
HOW?
1. Get your kit together:
Snowboard
Vises
Base Cleaner (and cloth)
Butane or Propane torch (lighter or matches to light it)
P-tex candle
Metal Scraper
2. Clean the base where you plan to p-tex it with base cleaner – make sure it’s fully dry before you start the repair.
3. Light the torch. Adjust the flame so it burns blue, not yellow or orange.
4. Light the P-tex candle – hold it in the flame until it lights, then keep it moving slowly to keep the flame burning blue. When the flame is yellow or orange, it burns carbon, which leaves black residue in your p-tex patch. You can keep the flame constant by rotating the candle with your fingers, by keeping it over your metal scraper, or by sheltering it with your free hand.
5. Use the p-tex candle like a crayon or brush to “color” p-tex in the areas you’re filling.
6. Layer it on to fill gouges – don’t try to cram a lot in at once.
7. When you’re done adding p-tex, allow the board base to cool completely.
8. Take your metal scraper and scrape the excess p-tex gradually off to make the base smooth and flat. Use the scraper as you would a plastic scraper to remove wax – hold it in both hands with your thumbs at the bottom edge. Angle the top of the scraper away from you and scrape away from you, pressing down with your thumbs.
9. If you still have low spots, you can go back and add more p-tex to fill in, using the same process
