The funny thing is many people have commented on seeing it, which means that now they will come into Shoreline with buckets of money to buy Skis and Snowboards they Saw on the X-games. How about a Helmet that explodes off your head while riding in a half Pipe….Oh Sorry Shaun White already bought that one.

Keep your equipment from being stolen with the Dakine cool lock. The economy has many of us concerned that more snowboards will be stolen this year. If you have ever had you board stolen, you know first hand how miserable that experience is. Here you are, having paid, who know how much for a lift ticket, to have your board stolen during a lunch break. You walk out from lunch, your stomach drops, as you search everywhere for your board. Then instead of riding the rest of the afternoon, your off filling our police reports ans lost and found reports. Then if you dare to use your home owners insurance to try and get it replaced, you have more forms to fill out, and then the waiting to get the check after you pay the deductible.
Will Snowboarders be tempted to steal? We hope not, but we know how enjoyable riding is, so the desire is very strong.  If your having trouble earning enough money to continue to ride, don’t give into stealing. Get a job, work at a resort, go to Lake Tahoe Community College, Work harder in the summer, be responsible, Say no to stealing other people’s equipment, who did work hard to get their gear.  Lead us not into Temptation, Lock up your Snowboard

The first of a few jumps from our good buddy, Adam “Knievel” Neil.  Yea like Adam is…in his 40′s and decided to take up downhill mountain biking….Fearless if you ask me. As most people his age are complaining about getting old, Adam steps up and delivers big clean airs on his bike. Adam and his family are big supporters of the USSA (United States Snowboard Association). His whole family ends up at Nationals every year. Keep the shiny side up Adam…

Shoreline of Tahoe’s General Manager, Kenny Raspen, is officially a SLEDNECK!! All of us at the shop are stoked to see Kenny trying heel clickers and supermans after sledding only 3-4 times.  Way to go Kenny!!!

It’s that time of year.  The snow is melting away and the streets are being cleaned.  Time to dust off those long boards and get ready for a summer of shredding the pavement.  Check out some last year’s footy of some of our local kids having a good time on highway 88 out near Kirkwood. Bike to Work, School, Play promotes a healthy, environmentally-friendly commute to work and school and gets Tahoe basin residents out of their cars — reducing air pollution and traffic congestion. Shoreline employees have been riding their bikes to work for years. Every spring till late fall you can find them peddling their way back and forth to work.
