Every NAS is handcrafted Near Canada in the USA at Mervin Mfg. the worlds most environmental snowboard factory. The POW Series with Magnetraction Serrated edges and ReCurve dynamic early rise camber rocker combination are designed by Mike Wilson, Jamie Pierre and Mt. Bakers Tory Bland and our experiMental division. Tested all over the world in all conditions the POWs excell on hardpack and ice where the Magnetraction and ReCurve work in harmony to provide incredible edge hold, easy turn initiation and lively carving. Of course they rip in powder and broken snow conditions the Dynamic early rise provides great float in both directions and the camber under foot keeps them popping and alive. Tim Dutton used them to win the 2009 World Freeski Championships and has done uncountable backflips on them since…”I am all in on the Rasta NAS project” Tim Dutton.

Not a mindless cheesy cleshay that says "the customer is always right" but a focus on fitting the customer to the product that best fits their needs.

To our surprise, Shoreline of Tahoe as a brand is showing steady growth during these economic flat times. How did we do it? To be honest I don’t know, I am very quick to thank God, I do live by faith so over the years I can testify that God has seen us through many tough times.

From what I can tell, that is measurably, is that we have consistently operated with common sense. Not a mindless cheesy cleshay that says “the customer is always right” but a focus on fitting the customer to the product that best fits their needs. We think that, the shift from going for the quick sale, to instead listening to our skiers and snowboarders and then offering what gear would best serve their riding / skiing style, has contributed to our growth.

Enough of what I think, here are all 5 comments we found on Google maps, See for yourself why Shoreline continues to grow in a flat economy…

Shoreline of Tahoe (Kingsbury Grade-NV207 location) has the lethal combination of having the best selection of snowboards for sale in the entire South Lake Tahoe Region and having the best customer service I’ve ever had at a snowboard shop. I was looking into buying a board and the staff there gave me a very comprehensive rundown on what I should consider. They gave me specific board, binding, and boot recommendations catered to my riding style. The selection of snowboards for sale is fairly wide with a spectrum of different models suited for freestyle or all-mountain use. No other shop in the South Lake Tahoe Region has more selection in my experience, although The Village is a close second. Also, the staff has solid background knowledge about the exact equipment they are selling, with many of them owning the very same models. They also offer steep discounts on outdated/last year’s equipment. Overall, the experienced and friendly nature of the staff and the good selection of equipment available make Shoreline of Tahoe my #1 recommendation for snowboarding needs in the South Lake Tahoe Region.

Late in the day at Heavenly, I snapped a ladder on my Flow binding. Went to the shop at Boulder Lodge, but they only deal with Burton. Hopped in the car, drove down Kingsbury Grade, stopped at Shoreline. Talked to Bob. He says, “We have some parts and we should be able to help you. Bring your board in.” Five minutes later the binding was fixed. When I asked how much, Bob said, “Tell you what – just tip my staff.” I did and was back on the slopes in time for two more runs that afternoon. I’d definitely go here again. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient.

These guys are incredibly helpful, stock quality gear (ski and snowboard), and do great repairs. I give them my full recommendation for your ski and snowboard needs in South Lake Tahoe.

This shop is truly excellent. I have been a customer at a number of the shops in Nevada, but these guys on Kingsbury have a little bit of everything and are extremely helpful.
Shoreline’s Nevada shop is the best place to go for gear. The staff were great and dialed in the bindings I needed, at the price I wanted. They have a good discount on last year’s stuff and all the new gear was stocked. Other shops in south lake break the bank and don’t have everything you want. These guys were reasonable and helpful. If you have a question about snowboards, ask for Kevin. The guy seems to know everything and goes out of his way to help. A ++++
