If you have ever had you board stolen, you know first hand how miserable that experience is. Here you are, having paid, who know how much for a lift ticket, to have your board stolen during a lunch break. You walk out from lunch, your stomach drops, as you search everywhere for your board. Then instead of riding the rest of the afternoon, your off filling our police reports ans lost and found reports. Then if you dare to use your home owners insurance to try and get it replaced, you have more forms to fill out, and then the waiting to get the check after you pay the deductible.
Will Snowboarders be tempted to steal? We hope not, but we know how enjoyable riding is, so the desire is very strong.  If your having trouble earning enough money to continue to ride, don’t give into stealing. Get a job, work at a resort, go to Lake Tahoe Community College, Work harder in the summer, be responsible, Say no to stealing other people’s equipment, who did work hard to get their gear.  Lead us not into Temptation, Lock up your Snowboard
