Tumbleweeds Gymnastics

Tumbleweeds Gymnastics

Heavenly Ski & Snowboard foundation coach Ed McClain has a new way to teach snowboarding….he does it in Tumbleweed Gymnastics Gym on Thursday evenings. No you won’t learn how to carve a turn, but if you need help landing your back side 540, then this is the ticket.  The secret to many of the top performing aerial artist, in both skiing and snowboarding is a gymnastic back ground.  If your serious about your sport, then you must include working out in a gymnastic gym to increase your chances of landing your tricks.  If you in the area check out tumbleweed gymnastics off of Airport road, in gardnerville Nevada or find a gymnastic gym in your own home town, make some new friends, have some fun, and sharpen your aerial awearness.

The good ideas are still being churned out of Mervin Manufacturing, their latest design gives the rider equal turning, heel and toe side. The Patent Pending Proprietary Park Pickle Product will be included in the 09/10 Gnu Snowboard line. Based on the idea that heelside turns require more leverage than toeside turns, the Park Pick will have a deeper sidecut on the heelside. The board is a true twin shape with a centered stance so it can be ridden with either goofy or regular and includes Mervin Mfg’s exclusive use of Banana Technology.

The Park Pickle achieves perfect balance through asymmetry, a deeper sidecut and asymmetric core on the heel edge balances your foots asymmetry and the different turn mechanics between heel and toe turns. Twin Asymmetric Banana Magnetraction design is the future of all terrain freestyle performance snowboards. Pickle Power

Shoreline Of Tahoe has a few in Demo also, so stop by and check one out.

Lib Tech Banana Traction Snowskate
Lib Tech BTX 43inches Snow Skate
Thanks to a reverse-camber base, the Lib Tech 43in BTX Snowskate opens up a whole new world of riding when it’s too snowy to skateboard and you can’t get to the mountains. Magne-Traction edges help you turn with ease while those other poor suckers are dropping left and right on the icy conditions. This Lib Tech board even won the Shut Up and Snowskate competition at Snoqualmie, so you know it’ll kill it in your front yard.

I think political correctness has taken away our freedom, and turned Americans into wimps…some how over time the whiners who started this movement have convinced Americans that along with all of your constitutional rights, you also have the right not to be offended. Being offended has become a national pass time. People now days listen very closely to every word you say, they are looking to be offended, they want to be the victim. Once you obtain victim status, you now can from a special interest group, in hopes of getting extra rights and money.
It is a silly world we now live in, the highest moral law of this new world is to tolerate every thing, yet to be completely intolerant towards anyone saying something wrong….

So be warned, we’re kind of old school at Shoreline, if the Ski wear makes you look fat, We’ll let you know, if the beanie you picked out is gay, we’ll tell you all about it, and if we wish you a Merry Christmas, we mean it, in the the most loving way.

Featured in the episode, a guest apperance from Nicky of Lib tech, Quicksilver, Roxy, and Gnu Snowboards.
