Like any new crazy, the first terms become the ask for product when people go out to buy the new technology. “Skate Banana” was the first of many Banana Tech snowboards designed by Mervin manufacturing. Each board performs differant, so don’t just buy only the skate banana board because that was the first. some of the other designs may fit your needs better. Take your time read the fine print, Lib Tech 1986 Snow Mullet Banana-Traction Snowboard The ultimate freeride, jib, powder stick that works great on hardpack and holds an edge in the steep, icy and nasty zones that sometimes get between you and your pow. Patterned after mid-eighties designs, progressive Sidecut and taper angle combined with Magne-Traction and Banana between your feet ensure a floaty effortless ride in powder and positive edgehold in all conditions.Lib Tech Dark Series Banana-Traction SnowboardNow select sizes available in Banana Tech! Lib Tech MC Kink Banana-Traction SnowboardMC Kink: Transition ease. A kinked tail is a tail curve derived from a kink. A smooth mellow entry floats over all obstacles, kink aggressively changes tip angle allowing maximum height to be reached quickly. This allows a shorter, lighter board with an equal tip height. Great for climbing walls or tech switch landings. Kink, Banana, Mag! This is the most visible, functional, snowboard-specific tech on the planet. Matt Cummins has 18 years of skate influenced board design experience. Originally designed by Matt Cummins back in the lat 80′s. The idea for this shape was to develop a board that rides well in powder as well as being able to jib rocks, rails, logs, ect. Add Banana tech and Magne-Traction to the 80′s kink design. Mission Accomplished. Lib Tech Skunk Ape Banana-Traction SnowboardWide, Twin, Banana, Mag.! Trackers have reported Banana Ape trails throughout the woods of Snoqualmie Pass and beyond.
